Many lightweight dog jackets are designed only as raincoats — SportWarmer is much more than that. Its advanced technical fabric features a windproof membrane that prevents cold air from penetrating, helping your dog stay warm even in cool, damp conditions. When is the SportWarmer the right choice?

SportWarmer is ideal when you want a lightweight dog jacket that protects against wind and rain but is cold-resistant and breathable.

For very cold winter temperatures (below -10°C), we recommend switching to a warmer insulated jacket version, the ProWarmer winter jacket.

Choosing the right size – important notes

How to measure your dog, back length (measurement A)

To ensure the best possible fit, please pay special attention to the following measurements:

• Measurement A (back length) is the most important measurement. Measure from the withers to the base of the tail.
• Measurement C (chest circumference) is also important. For this jacket, it is measured approximately 5 cm behind the dog’s front legs. The size chart shows the length of the adjustable waist strap.
• Measurement B (neck circumference) is especially important for dogs with a heavier build or a thick coat, to ensure the neck opening is sufficiently roomy.

When trying the jacket on your dog, it is important to put the leg bands on to ensure that the rear section stays firmly in place and does not push forward when the dog moves.  The fabric stretches about 14% to allow complete freedom of movement.

At the bottom of this page, you’ll find a separate size chart with example breeds and tested sizes. Please note that this chart is intended as a guideline only. Always compare your dog’s own measurements with the size chart — and remember that back length (Measurement A) is the most critical measurement.
